Background
Yiren Tong graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech. He then pursued his Master's degree at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Current activities
Yiren is currently a PhD student in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Centre for Computational Engineering Sciences, specializing in the Advanced Numerical Methods (ANM) Group. His research interests lie in developing hybrid Central-WENO high-order methods for compressible flows and applying them to industrial-scale problems.
